thats a good start. a few more chrome items and you'll have a real design language going. maybe a chrome e-brake button.
personally i dont care if someone decks out there car in the latest from autozone. if they think it makes their that much more awesome, have at it. i will laugh though.AWD > RWDComment

BMW picked RED because you eyes are most sensitive to RED end of the light spectrum. That means that they could light up the dash AND keep your iris'es(sp?) wide open so that you can see more of the road and deep into the shadows.
But go ahead and re-think something BMW did for safety since you have no fucking clue what you are doing. That's awesome.Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?Comment

or if you question bmw, ask yourself what color lights are used in the military at night?

but if you live in the city, its really not that serious.

In a nutshell, red offers high visibility with minimal fatigue.or if you question bmw, ask yourself what color lights are used in the military at night?

Not too many people make alternate colors for gauge overlay....I always like this 'sporty trashy' look on the "Rarri's"

The red does look sexy in the E30, but yeah, it's kinda dim and old.Comment

That looks amazing. It also doesn't turn blue at night, or have a whole shit-ton of extra lines all over each of the markers.Comment

early models also had double side chrome outside the windows, and the inside of the windows got the chrome accents. Therefore I swapped to late model rear window strips and sprayed the stock fronts to match and am not getting chrome cluster rings. Belongs on the outside of cars folks.Jah bless! :pimp:Comment

Maybe its been said already.... but what i dont understand is why oh why someone hasnt sat down and thought to themselves: "Replicate stock e30 gauge faces... make them amber backlit like the e36." I mean its possible to do... But these venders just choose to reinvent the wheel. Why? If e30 owners want something a little more modern its a stock gauge thats backlit. I dunno.. ahha.

I've never driven an e36 at night. What's so different about them? (e30 gauges are backlit as well - along with some front lighting to light up the needles.)Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?Comment

I personally like blue better, the red is all old, plus it makes the car look better, probably some of you haven't even seen it in any other color than red, but the ones this dude has are awful, at least he should of gotten the white face ones, just buy this cluster and stop messing around! jaja 600 bucks!

PROBABLY SOMEONE HAS TO SAY THAT IT'S RICE! EVERYTHING IS RICE NOWADAYS! U CANT PU NOTHING COOL ON YOUR CAR!Comment

I don't know why you posted this pictures - out of all the f-ing "sick bag" pictures on line, you had to pick one that has a 10,000 word essay on it - that we are all reading assuming that it has something to do with the post - but it doesn't, and it's just a waist of time. /rant.Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?Comment

^^ looks like there is a page 2 as well....
and relatively, this thread is a bit overdrawn (like so many others).
going back to the chrome rings (which i hate in reality), they may look nice in daytime
but
at night, the chrome looks like you have a warning sign on every meter...
i noticed it driving my friends car, and i had a constant "somethings wrong" messege going through my mind w/those rings.
all in all.
