1uzfe,ls1 etc etc. I think lee should make a comment on what the best set up for going boosterless would be.

As I have recommended before, bossterless systems are for track purpose, where for 20 minutes you will give all you've got. 20 exhausting and sweaty minutes.

Nobody has the same energy when driving around town for hours. There, having to press very hard on a brake pedal just to reach the local 7-11 is not very practical and is even dangerous as you won't be able to perform panic stops. And the race pads with high friction will destroy your rotors when cold.

So, if people still insist not using the hydraulic booster because of so-called "complexity", then compromises will need to be done: using a very small MC, and getting a long pedal throw or having to press very hard on the pedal. Also, going bossterless is not recommended with stock calipers as the inherent play into them will translate into an even longer pedal throw.
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

Lee, have you ever seen a remote hydro-boost setup to accommodate an s50b32 euro engine? (sort of like what those guys were selling for the LS1 swap kit)

Yes. The hydro booster conversion is what many Europeans have done. The booster is not "remote", it is bolted to the firewall. Usig the e23 vs e28 allows to shorten the assmebly by an inch as the e23 booster as one inch behind the firewall.

^ok, well i guess that would be easier, but what i was talking about is some mechanism that allows you to mount the hydro-booster up were the coolant reservoir usually is.

Just wondering can anybody confirm that the E23 Hydroboost master cylinder will clear the S50b32 Euro Intake elbow. Some people say it will, but others say it's not possible and some have modified the intake elbow to move it forward.
