3/4ths of the earth is water thus uninhabited. Of the 1/4 that is liveable some isn't lived on. So to think we have caused global warming since what...the industrial revolution is proposterous. Its typical man thinking that he can do so much damage.

Think of it this way. If earth were the size of a standard globe, the atmosphere (every layer) would be as thick as one coat of varnish on that globe. The atmosphere isn't a huge thing, and it is possible to change its composition.

Yes, I do quote a lot, and find info somebody else discovered to back my statements. I am not a scientist. Like any argument, I believe that mine will be more credible with real data from people who have spent lifetimes working on this issue. There is nothing wrong with quoting data.

On the flip-side, I noticed you have nothing at all to back up your statements.

We can find the temperature of the earth long ago by analyzing core samples of ice from remote locations. Layers of ice are like layers of rock, you can analyze them to find out what the world was like when the water in them froze. Scientists can drill down hundreds of feet, and find ice that is millions of years old. We choose incredibly remote areas because there is almost no chance of human contamination there. Everyone seems to be hell bent on collecting data that was "known" to be truth, when often "scientists" "theologians" and any kind of philosophers strive to prove said theorems...are still basing an argument on what others are "theorizing", until proven, it's still a theory.

Maybe acting as if this carbon perhaps had something to do with oxide carbons in the air we breathe today? Obviously you must derive that in all chemical reactions : matter, mass and energy cannot be created or lost - so with that in mind...

how do you suppose this energy/matter, mass is being converted during this "ecological crisis"? We tend to put out forest fires that would have been rampant without human intervention, yet when we burn coal so you can take a hot bath, therefore our kids' eyes will be burned out from the sun's cosmic radiation.

which is what I was pointing out. the "hockey stick graph" is a load of shit, it was a devised in such a way that no matter the data you input the graph will always make the same Off the chart hockey stick looking shape.

Moral of the story if it looks like a Hockey stick, its prolly just that Horse Hockey.

No, this global climate change doesn't contradict the second law of thermodynamics. We are simply releasing carbon that was previously sequestered in the earth into the atmosphere. We are not changing the amount of carbon. The earth is warming because the increase of carbon in the atmosphere is trapping more heat from the sun. We aren't creating or destroying matter or energy.

A critique of the hockey stick was published in 2004 (McIntyre 2004), claiming the hockey stick shape was the inevitable result of the statistical method used (principal components analysis). They also claimed temperatures over the 15th Century were derived from one bristlecone pine proxy record. They concluded that the hockey stick shape was not statistically significant.

An independent assessment of Mann's hockey stick was conducted by the National Center for Atmospheric Research (Wahl 2007). They reconstructed temperatures employing a variety of statistical techniques (with and without principal components analysis). Their results found slightly different temperatures in the early 15th Century. However, they confirmed the principal results of the original hockey stick - that the warming trend and temperatures over the last few decades are unprecedented over at least the last 600 years.
