Yeah, another one of those spacers would do it as well but I ended up using extra thick washers in addition to the nut to take up space so I can torque the wheel down. What i'm curious about is how the wheel is seemingly angled to the left. I searched and found some E46 owners who have noticed the same thing with their cars.

Do you mean, like the left side of the wheel is farther towards the front of the car and the right side towards the rear?

Yeah, kinda seems like it. Maybe I'm imagining it. I'll have to drive the car a bit more.

If your horn doesn't work then it's probably too far out to make proper contact. I think it's better to just place the washers on the outside of the steering wheel right behind the nut instead of behind the wheel. That way at least everything works right (horn and turn signal stop). Then just bend the stalks a bit for more hand clearance.

Man, that's perfect. I was all over home depot looking for something just like that. Just stacked up 4 thick washers at $.18 a piece. What do they call that at Harbor Freight?
