Not bad, I wonder if an M20 could get close to that without boost.

It could probably be done but its cost prohibitive. I think the most cost effective way would be SC/Turbo.

Car is certainly nuts, now I gotta go take advantage of all the cheap SCs floating around on bf.c

not a streetable one. You could get close doing a 3.0 stroke,1mm bore,300 cam, MAF,BBTB,hone manifold....

but unless you are as big of an asshole as me why would you even think it.

No real reason, just think it would be pretty cool. Its just something about the idea of a balls to the wall built M20 that does it for me. I know its not logical.

not to bring this thread further off topic (great #s!) but it could easily be streetable. Just expensive..

Nice! Which chip are you running? 228 is great.

                      That's nice numbers!

My S52 with TMS equal-length headers, 3.5" MAF, TRM tune, OBD-I put down 233/218. But discovered later it was on a weak headgasket.

No chip. Supposedly out of a 52k mile car though.

To add anyone trying to match these numbers on an m20... Its a long road uphill. The m20 is 12 valves and half a liter short of an s50. Im assuming comparatively hotter cams too. Completely different engines technologically. Ive heard of people pushing m20s to 3.0-3.1L, but that is a little too much stroke and bore for me on that engine.

Straight pipes? are you sure there's no chip in that ECU? Those are very healthy numbers!
