Check out this ad for a 325iC w/M Tech kit

Wow is all I can say. These used car salesmen really crack me up. Reminds me of the time I saw an E30 M3 at a Nissan lot and the salesperson was trying to tell me it was a 6 cylinder.

Tom started his business 29 years ago, selling American muscle cars.
Well, that explains the little 8 cylinder rant… It looks like a good idea, but not something I would buy over the internet. With a sales person that oblivious I would have to see it with my own two eyes.

Big deal, he got all the facts on the actual car right. Just cause he doesn't know that they didn't come with V8's doesn't make the guy a shady seller. He knew this car is a 6 pot at least.

That looks like a factory M-Tech cab, in which case that's a pretty good deal, and you don't have to worry about paying the running costs of a V-8!

actually he got more wrong than that. this is the 92 cab with m-tech appearance package. there were more than that made for the year. he is mixing that up with the very limited run M-technic convertible. The real M-tech cabrio had black and motorsport stripped two toned interior, the appearance package one had things like all white interior like this one. Oh well, price isn't too bad considering it'll cost $1200 just to fix that top.

Yes, it is actually a good buy which is another reason I posted it. Turns out there are a couple of iC's with M technic aero kits in the Autotrader alone. I just couldn't get over the fact he claimed that a V8 was offered as an option which is complete BS. I mean c'mon, get a clue. Just because it has an M technic appearance package doesn't mean it's an M car either.

so what.. the only people who know this kind of stuff are a handful of E30 nerds like us. the car looks clean, the price is right.. hell, if I were in the market for a cabby I'd check it out at least.
