oh and an iS is not a body kit. a front lip and a rear lip spoiler does not equal body kit.
FYI, I was told that IS side skirts were an dealer option in the day you just don't see many of them around.

    Cheers,

yeah, some is' had the skirts, which would make it a body kit IMO.

would you say that the ix didn't have a kit either then?

why does it bother me when people hear body kit and assume its trashy?

I know it not a "body kit" just calling it that because i dont have it on my car and would be adding it

I personally really like the look of IS skirts, not too many around. MT2 is obviously more of a statement, an MT2 car stands out a bit but the IS skirts/lip is slightly understated and looks good ptr a splitter on the lip and it's tits. It all depends what you want I guess.

I really like the Hartge kit if I could choose anything I woud go for that.

I know this is an old thread, but just for shits and giggles, here's my M-Tech 4 door. Only reason it has M-Tech on it is it spent the first years of its life in Germany before being shipped to the US and federalized. (bastards butchered my euro bumpers :()

I don't think BMWNA even offered the 4 door kit in the US.

What iS skirts are we talking about here? Any iS I've ever seen has virtually none.

MT1 all the way. Something about the MTII kit just seems too monochromatic/soft to me.

MTech II might seem monochromatic cause there's no chrome on the bumpers, the black bumper strip is eliminated and the cars with the MTech II kit usually have the shadowline window trim.

                        Looks tits though

I would definitely say mtech, if it's early model mtech 1. If it's a late model go mtech 2.
