I will never ever buy a new car, its just not worth the costs (depreciation, etc) and the hassles of dealing with dealers.

srt-4 is a fast car there is no doubting that but thats where it ends...
build quality of everything besides the motor is totally sub-standard... the interior feels even cheaper than a GEN2 eclipse (which i didnt thing was possible) everything has a hard plastic hollow sound to it and flexes like crazy... the body panels are ultra-think and i suspect there will be alot of rusted out srt-4 in the future.... the car suffers from a huge amount of tourqe steer (something that could have been overcome at least mostly.. i know that my corrado had almost none and my friends 300+ hp turbo vr6 corrado had hardly any as well as alot of other euro fwd cars... )
for the money if you want a fast car its fantastic.. it has great handling and lots of power.. but for any other purpose i would look elsewhere
ohh yeah they sooo damned ugly too
and as far as the the comments about american car companies not being able to make relibale motors... that is far from the truth.... especially when it comes to chrysler turbo 4s... those things are bomb-proof
