What are your thoughts about this car?.....im thinking about getting a new car....wouldnt mind one only thing is dont got that much money....this one sells for 20k.....and is fast as hell.....not saying its styling is better than the e30 i love my e30 but want to know what you think.....if u have anythoughts about any other cars in this price range please do tell....thank you!

Test drove one myself. It is hell on wheels man. Exhaust sounds cool but would become too extreme after time. It is hard to hold the car on the road @ full throttle. Too much Horse power and torque for a fwd car in my opinion. But it is a cheap way to get some speed.

theyre fast as hell. I saw a guy run a 14.0 with only an intake at the drags. Quick as hell and definately the best bang for the buck

A 14.0 with that car quite frankly is weak. It should do a mid 13. Furthermore from what I read the airbox on that model is excellent and an intake would prob harm the overall performance.

14.0 is weak? I saw one on Saturday run 14.1.

I would have bought it yes, then that VW came up. I ended up losing out on that bid war. And after much nagging from my mom and girl friend I kept the E30 and decied to restore her. But yes, I would get that car, hack the wing off and put something more conservative on it. And yes 14.0 is weak in that car. He prob had a hard time catching/keeping traction. Launching is difficult with a fwd car, especailly when it has as much power as a rwd M3

I wouldnt. I would probably never buy an American car, unless I see something spectacular.

sub-14 second for less than $20k is fairly close to spectacular in my opinion. sure the build and interior suck, but thats sort of the point.

I doubt I would buy one. Never was a fan of American cars and this Neon is Dodge's answer for the import tuning scene. For the money, I would probably buy a new Mini instead. Personally I find them to look much better....even classier. It may not be as fast in a straight line as the Neon, but they can carve turns....and that's what counts in my book.

Then again, if I had $20K to burn, I'd buy an E30 M3 and mod it how I liked :!:

I probably would never buy one simply because its an American car, but the bang-for-your-buck aspect cannot be overlooked. There is really nothing close performance-wise in its price range, except for maybe the WRX. I've also heard that they are WAY underrated power-wise and can very easily be modded to over 300 whp. It IS still a Neon though... If I was buying a new car with 20 grand to kill, I'd probably take it for a test drive for comparison's sake, then check out a WRX.

Yeah, but its really the only other car close performance-wise for under $25k.
