So true, how can you safely take a left turn in heavy traffic when you can't see the traffic coming towards you? I have seen two crashes in the last six months involving RHD cars getting t-boned while turning left at traffic lights.

RHD JDM imports are freaking everywhere here.

If I'm turning left against traffic with no protected left I wait until I clearly see there is no traffic coming towards me, just like anybody else should do. Seriously, I'm a couple feet in the other direction.

I have friends who drive their RHD vehicles with no problems too. It takes a little more caution but luckily I grew out of driving like a retard and now I'm super cautious, especially around town.

Now I'll ask you, too. Have you ever driven a RHD car?

Quite handy if you end up switching wheels a lot on a track/drift car. Ricey as hell for anything else. Also makes brake jobs more work.

also, there are tons of right hand drive cars in Canada, 15 year rule makes it simple and "mostly" affordable.
people are getting uptight about the safety of these cars here, and I call bullshit.
it isn't the RHD Toyota land cruisers, or Nissan trucks and what not getting in the accidents, its the rx-7's, Skyline's (GT-R's and GTS-T's) and Sylvias...you know, the sporting cars who are being driven by the young sideways hat wearing douchebag/ Dick-tuggers types.

I sort of knew a guy who killed himself and 3 other people in a RHD 7. Was unfortunate but it was a super sick car and buddy drove it like an idiot honestly. Caught air going over a hill on a backroad, landed and lost control, hit a Hyndai head on. Sad situation overall but you can't blame it on what side of the car he was sitting on. A LHD sports car would have done the same thing.
