I got 2. A snap on one and 1 from Weller. I like the weller one a lot, but it needs a new tip.
I got a fender roller now! LMK if you need me to roll your fenders or want to rent the tool from me locally.

Still got the old weller I've had since my R/C days as a kid. I never knew some people had so much trouble with soldering. Guess I'm a natural.

I be crafty, I use it for modding xbox controllers and repairing consoles. Also on audio wiring, I like it better than crimp connecters.

I just purchased this Stahl Tools variable temperature soldering station for $12:

No, it's not a Weller-but from the reviews on the website and on some other forums it works great and is a bargain for only $12. I will be building some tube amp kits for home use soon so this should come in handy.

I've soldered quite a few 25 pin RS-232 cables over the years. In fact, I need to solder 4 more right now.

                                I have like 5:giggle:

two guns, but only 1 still works

                                one butane one

and a crappy radio shack one thats taped together

I started soldering at about...10? Thats when I moved on from the wire crimping stage, which was after the twist and tape stage;)
