fuck yes. I practiced more putting before losing the ball. :? While putting I was thinking about how three years ago I was working at an express carwash and putting bags on cars' rear wiper. ghey. This is a lot better.

Solitaire on the computer, bored.com.....there is wifi in the area, so I can bring in my laptop too. Only I don't have a desk/cubicle yet, nor extension. DOH. (Accepted job Friday, so maybe okay).

It's cool to have a lot of nice people around you, and the environment is very relaxed.

yeah. i got paid about $21 today for putting and playing solitaire and then also sitting around and doing nothing....waiting/chillin. Have you not seen Office Space.....not a lot of work gets done.

But I also found out what size RAM we had in inventory by installing them and powering up the computer. And also got some computers ready by installing those sticks to make 128MB. But it was a slow day as they didn't have a lot for me to do.

Definately drove one of the supervisors and the administrative assistant for computer services in my car.

That's what I was wondering. 7 bucks an hour for semi-skilled labor?

you guys realize that a higher minimum wage means that some people won't be able to get a job at all right? (mainly entry level/low skilled people) washington has one of the highest minimum wages in the nation, and gee, we also have some of the highest unemployment. be glad you have a job!

I nailed a job that pays about $12/hr working as a computer technician for the company that does like all the tv guides and listings for the country.

that money is crazy shit for a kid my age considering 2 years ago i worked for $5.85/hour doing a labor intense job.

I'd suggest some of you guys move to a big city, and go into real estate....if you want to skip the college thing and start making money. But do it only if you have the people skills and are convincing in a sale. I'm going to be working as a life insurance agent, and am said to be making anywhere between 600 to 2500 a week.....of course depending on how hard I work. I'm also starting up a new small business on the side troubleshooting and repairing computers with a couple friends. Already have my ad in the phone book.
