          How about a M50 swap turbo?

          Karel that thing is amazing well done, so bad ass. Makes me want an M20 now instead of the M50 I have lying around. lol

            if bmw would pay me to sell m20 engiens i would say go for the m20..

            but with all the work i have done on this one. I must say got with the m50.

            i mean changing the gasket for something better you can easilly do 500whp with an "un opened" engine..

            dual cams,
            cam chain
            NO FUCKING ROCKERS.

            these things should tell you to use m50 instead of m20 :D

                              Amazing car! I haven't read the whole thread yet, but I have a question about the roll cage from the latest pictures.
                              The cross-bar the seat belts attach to seem lower than the top of the occupants' shoulders. Isn't this a safety issue? I imagine that in a crash the belts would pull down on the shoulders, compressing the spine, resulting in cartilage/vertebrae damage.
                              Just curious..

                                Conki, according to the NASA rulebook, the shoulder harness should be mounted behind the driver and above a line drawn downward from the shoulder point at an angle of no more than twenty (20) degrees with the horizontal.
