Now there is SPEED !!
Yesterday we spent 4 hours on mounting the injector sockets THAT SUCKED !!!!
But today we had more speed
I went by My motorguy to help him out, i changed the bushings in the rods to a much harder and better ones.
We made an rigg for the injector sockets
Johnny keept on welding up the intake
Johnny then moved on to the turbo pipes, dident say a thing during the evening and the it was finished
I did start with the wg pipes
one of the pipes to the wg
Then i did the downpipe
johnny finished up the turbo pipes
when Johnny was finished with the turbo pipes we took some time to admire it
2 happy guys
MORE TO COME

Think some members are missing the point this car is a DAILY DRIVER.
What trim turbo are you using? Sucker looks huge. The intake manifold looks a bit small is that due to fitment? Which ems? Can't wait to see her finished up!Current: 1988 M3 - Henna/Black black alcantara

I might've missed it but how much of a lag will you have? I remember having to rev my car to 4k before the t72 gtq trim turbo started to spool.Current: 1988 M3 - Henna/Black black alcantara

aren't you worried about burning through the piston with the valve notches?
in several conversoations with jim at metric mechanic, he talked me out of running a piston with notches because he said there was always a problem with that once you go over 12lbs of boost. not right away but in longevity terms.
just wondering if you have had any similar problems running hight boost with pistons.seien Sie größer, als Sie erscheinen

and even when a injector clogged up just the head gasket went.

update Time.
Its been quite for som time.. and that have sucked..
All of the stand still has been due to the motor guy has to much to handle on 1 person.
But now it seems that the speed is upp again.
The new bearing is sanded
the engine block is flattened
Drilling the engine block
Milling for the steal thread
Hening the last of the block
When the head got welded it got a bit twisted
A friend of mine wanted to try a new foil he got home.. so i voluntared :)
Jocke started to lay down the foil
A bunch of friends got over to se the final product
Hopefully im putting togheter the engine block tomorow and this weekend its going in.

Damn, this is one of those threads I wish I stumbled upon after the build was done, because every time I clicked another page I got a little bit sad that eventually I was going to finish the thread.
Way to go man, you guys rock. Any reason for putting the throttle body a little ways away from the intake, just packaging?

the throttel body would fit closer but we thought that this might be good.. and adding some volume to the intake :)
