    FREE DIY ride lowering!

That's right, I SLAMMMMMED my car for free today - and YOU can too! I had less than an inch of clearance between the ES spoiler and the ground - a little extreme for some, but I'm all about lowering that center of gravity and handling like a GO KART BABY!

It's easy, all you have to do is make sure your lower spring perches on your front struts are rusting out, then just drive around and eventually - voila! The perches will snap right off the strut housings, and you'll be L-L-LOW RIDIN my friend. Extra bonus lowering tip: make sure your perches go out on the freeway at 80 or so, that way you'll pop your tires almost instantly, giving you another few inches of MAD DROP YO!

I wish I had pics, but it was just plain TOO LOW to snap an accurate pic.

Drop it like it's rusted. :)

Naw. I pulled over fast nuf to avoid any damage, really. And there was still clearance - so the pan never even scraped.

Took the tow truck 2 hours to get to me, and they had sent a wrecker, which wouldnt work - but he towed me off the highway to a restaurant to wait for a ramp truck. I pounded a few back waiting, as I knew this was going to be a long day. Finally got the ramp truck to show up - and he was a BMW owner himself. Took forever to get it on the truck - no clearance at all. It was just the driver's side on mine that went, btw.

Figures, I was swapping them out this weekend for my other ones with new hubs and the pro kits/bilstiens. Two more days. Always the case.

Always. I hate that. It's either right when you have the part and are waiting for time to do it something breaks.

Or after you purchase another part spend your pay cheque, think everythings all good something else shits the bed.

                  Sold it.

Exactly. Both of those happen all the time.

It just sucked because I lost the tire. I have more, but...well, whatever. Time for the prokits and bilstiens.

Screw pics of the car... a picture of the look on your face right when it happened would have been priceless. Guess pics of the car will have to do. Way to aviod r3vving though.

Admit it... you shit your pants. It would have happened even to the best of us. Did the mad toe-out you must have had on your driver's side give you any problems?
