Anyone used Pex for front wheel bearings?

Shopping for wheel bearings and these are pretty cheap:

80 bucks each instead of the 122 turner wants for the F.A.G. branded ones.

Never used Pex, I think Meyle fronts are 80$. I'm about to replace my fronts and I think I will bite the bullet and get the FAG's

At first glance I really thought you meant the flexible plumbing lines used in resi and comercial applications...

Got my FAG front wheel bearing/hub assembly from Blunt for less than Turner's price shipped.

there's company on eBay who sells two front hubs with FAG bearings pressed in for 100 shipped. All their parts come with a lifetime warranty.

the seller is macautopartsdiscounts. I have a set and the are quality and come grease packed.

Hmm, i've bought a bosch 02 sensor from them before and was please.

Only thing is they don't mention the manufacturer of the bearing in the listing...

I wouldn't really worry about it since there is a liftime warranty. They will send you new ones with no questions asked. I sent them an email about it. You could always send them an email to find out who makes them.

Edit: oh and I'm guessing you meant who the hubs are made by. the bearings are FAG as shown in the picture.

Brandon, you must have gotten really lucky, because I just got my set today and they are most definitely not FAG bearings. In fact, the bearings are completely unbranded. All I know is that hubs are made in China (not surprising). Pictures:

Do you guys think I should keep these? Keep in mind that this is going on a track car... Or return these/sell them for some real FAGs or Meyles.

On the other hand, I only paid 90 dollars shipped for the pair. And they have a lifetime warranty... If they do fail, it's not like there will be a catastrophic event on the track right? When wheel bearings go, they just have more side to side play in the wheel. Easy enough to diagonose and replace... right? I guess I wouldn't really want to be installing them more frequently than I'd need to though.

Wow, I would send them back. Im not sure if you ordered from the same deal as I on ebay but their FS ad CLEARLY states that they sell their hubs with FAG bearings. I'd be pissed. If they sent no name bearings, they'd already be back in their facility and I'd be ordering from blunt. That's bull shit, man. Sorry I steered you to the wrong company.

To be fair, they never claimed that the bearings were FAG in the ad posting that I purchased from.

When I asked them who manufactured the hubs, they replied with "PTC" or powertrain components.

I knew this was going to be somewhat of a gamble. Looks like I'll be sending it back and going with Blunt/Turner.

So was there ever a verdict on this? I messaged the ebay seller today to ask about the FAG bearings but haven't got a reply yet.

I was also looking at the PEX ones from Autohauz. Does anyone have anything to say about PEX?

I installed Pex on my 4 door. So far 3k miles and 20mm spacers they aren't complaining.
