I'm at work so I didn't get to watch it, but i was following it with the formula1.com live tracking thing. That totally blows. I was so hoping the Ferrari's wiped each other out (which they almost did). Hell, they were even checking Michael's rear left wheel.

Bernie Ecclestone is a homofag. Killing the sport, i swear to God.

What happend today at the USGP just reinforces my belief that Formula 1 ought to have that break-away series that has been kicked around for a couple of seasons. Nearly all the teams are on board for this (with the exception of Ferrari.....I know, what a shock). The current governing body just makes F1 a political circus and a power grab. Having the teams involved with taking control of the series would be similar to employees taking share ownership in a company. It would be good for the sport in my opinion.

It is no secret that Bernie Eccelstone keeps a good chunk of the funds raked in from F1 events and who knows where the rest goes. Ol' Bernie has made himself a very wealthy man running F1. He is reported worth a little over $2 billion.

I can imagine. I saw pics of the poor safety officers having to run onto the track to pick up debris. And the commentator notes saying "and the ferrari's running over more garbage on the track"

We spent 300 for 2 tickets and left after lap 9 or 10. We were super pissed.

There's the story. If it can come back to America next year, I am not going to go. It's more than just a tire issue because they had issues with Ralph crashing their last year. So, it's the turn too. Regardless, it was a shitty thing to do to all those fans. The teams running Michelins could have gone out and been lap traffic for 73 laps, but, they didn't. My money is better spent watching a champ car race or some small series at Mid-Ohio

Television is good for these sorts of things, but, the sound of 20 F1 cars, when all 20 are running, is amazing.
