Springs rates: H&R sport E30 VS. H&R sport M roadste

Does anyone know where I can find the spring rates of H&R sport E30 Vs. H&R sport M roadster?

I need to know for my M roadster suspension swap. At this point I think I'm going to buy M roadster front bilstien sport shocks, keep my current E30 rear bilstien sport shocks, and run M roadster H&R sport springs.

I'm hoping the M roadster H&R springs will be slightly stiffer. This should give me a nice balanced car.

I know that the E30 H&R sport spring rates are 185/340, but don't know what the M roadster rates are.

also try calling tirerack. they're usually pretty knowledgabe and have some BMW guys for techs.

that sounds right to me.. H&R sports are known to be relatively soft. race springs are typically much higher than that. Rember, they are meant to give better handling without sacrificing ride quality, which they seem to do just fine.

HR Sports for M-Roadster

200F/380R taken from rep at HR springs. They have a US distributor you can call and ask :idea:

They might not lower as much...

If you want lower, I suggest looking at Eibach Pro-Kit. That will lower the car a decent amount, close to HR Race, but retain HR Sport ride quality. The spring rates are 148F/485R
