The guy probably just couldn't be bothered. A friend sold me the '90 325is for $500 just to get it out from in front of his house. It just needed a new CPS and some fuel hose.

It came with a full GC/Koni setup, H&R front sway, Rota Slipstreams, Kosei K1s, front and rear strut braces and a bunch of useful spare parts (like a front hub). Oh yeah, and it's an ex-California car that is actually rust free, excepting some minor surface crap around one crushed pinch weld. He just wanted it towed away with no hassle.
