Unfortunately the vent will not be functional anymore as the display lens will cover up the entire opening of the pod.

it actually won't make much difference. if you close one center vent, you'll get more air through the other one since the total amount of airflow doesn't change.

Tilting isn't necessary, but it'd be an awesome feature to have if you can make it happen.

I'm interested if you go ahead and copy the Alpina version.

I cannot wait for this to become available. This is the perfect solution for us turbo guy's that want to keep an OEM look and dont want our dash cluttered with gauges.
Same here, tilting seems like it would be a pain in the ass

                  That's awesome.
I'm probably in for one if it's not too expensive.

I thought about removing the tilting, but then I realized you wouldn't be able to install the vent pod from the front if it can't tilt.

But the plastic bezel looks great - I'd love to buy some bezels, and put some customs designed gauges in there!

I have a large collection of reference images for the alpina gauge - it was something I was thinking of making, but it's just too much work for one person. If you would like to make an alpina vent reproduction - just the plastic parts, let me know - I'd be glad to supply the electronics!

This is brilliant what George suggest,,

i have also another question ,, what about those who DONT have F/I E30 and like to have this option,,

as my car have the S38B38 ,, there was installed 3 VDO gauge seen here on a picture below,, for security/safety reason ,, i have the E30 M3 cluster so oiltemp is not an issue for me in this case

But if the buyer could chose between some options of individual digital instrument ,, that would be stunning,,

I would reccomend for non turbo cars

                        DIFF heat temp.. ((if drifting))
                        oilpressure
                        oil heat,,

and there is one left for whatever you like

                        just my opinion

No worries... I don't think anyone else read it either as they were too busy looking that the pictures :)

Price? I won't know until I finish the prototype testing as an injection mold needs to be cut.
