    Gt3 seats in e30 m3

So i was bored and found these photos i took of my bosses car that he had me make brackets for installing Porsche GT3 seats in. Im not a fan, but it is cool that i wired up the seats so all power functions work. I cant find the photos of the car all back together with both seats in but this will give you an idea.

Not a fan either, but do they at least serve a purpose i.e track car?

That thing looks pretty tall/high. It is probably much lower in the porsche. Is that a Luke box I see?

Not bad, i doubt its a track car. Most track cars don't have a bunch of speakers in place of the back seat :)

heater box was letting in water behind dash, so i tore the car apart to replace the gasket. plus in the previous year the car was in a accident so there were rips here and there where water was getting in so i welded them up.

off topic, but that stuff under the windshield is sound deadening? or is it fire retardant?

Those aren't gt3 seats, those are the adaptive sport seats if I recall correctly. I was hoping to see gt3 bucket goodness but alas those can be on any 911. Doesn't look right too modern for the car if you get my taste. But I bet they're comfortable for days...

you sure about that? I'm not positive but Im guessing you're thinking about the GT3 RS seats.

I think it depends. I've seen full on race bucket seats in a 996 gt3. I too was expecting some more bucket to these seats.
