This is a great idea. Does anyone make something like this yet?

Very true. I just did this and yeah, kind of pointless to have one for detecting instant-on/laser, etc.

That said, the GPS "camera warning" models could certainly be of benefit to speed cameras and red-light cameras. Not sure if that's worth it though.

    Drive safely, people.

    That's what I'm talking about.

Can we get an app for that please!

onboard GPS built in, so it knows your speed, tells you your speed so AUTO/HIGHWAY settings aren't as important.

I leave it in AUTO NO X, and I get Laser and KA bands and it works awesome.

I just drove from Utah to NYC. Utah to Vegas. and Utah to San Diego. I love when it warns of the trooper coming in the opposite direction.

    Pricey though ....
I like the reviews on the Redline, the range and detection is supposed to be incredible... but If I'm paying $400+ on a detector, I want it to have the GPS/Camera function of the 9500ix.

    Waiting on the Redline successor.

Have a Beltronics Vector 995, but wish I had a V1. Can't really say anything bad about the 995. Have had it for about 5 years.

I have a Belltronics RX65. I would love a V1, but they're too expensive and the Bell was free soooo....

I'm on the highway a lot in the E30. I've spent way too much money to not to be able to fly down the highway in my E30. So I use this thing so I'm not doing it too blindly. Has saved my ass many many times. Those Austin cops will eventually get me with their lasers I image tho. :)

FYI Texas has a lot of long straight flat highways, particularly down south, that didn't get their limits raised like some of the other highways out west. This thing is a life saver. I'm not going 70 on a 50 mile straight of highway with no towns/exits/gas stations/etc. 80 is a minimum, but usually you can see me go 85-90.

QFT! Really need to pick one of these up again. Regret selling mine with my STI. :( I have a Belltronics 995i and its nowhere near as nice as my V1 was.
