speeding doesn't really save you that much time in a daily commute. time how long it takes to to get where you normally go at the speed limit or ~9 above. and then do try it the way you normally speed. chances are the time difference wont be more than 7 min.

7 extra min is worth the 30+ min of getting pulled over, hassled, court, money, and more time commuting to go to court and deal with all that crap.

leave the speed for the track... or germany :D

I use to use a cobra spent about $200 got me out of alot of tickets. Only got 1 ticket in it because speeding through mountains with a sharp turn, the cop was hiding right around the turn, radar detector doesn't work through a mountain :(. Works perfect on hwy though. Was racing with a mustang on I5 and my detector went off so I slowed he didn't and whoop whoop cop in slow lane snagged him.
Also if no detector just follow the logic, cops are usually posted up at overpass bridges because they don't want to sit in the sun all day and it gives them some cover, just slow down when you see one. How often do you see a cop just chillin on the side of an open road.

I have a hardwired passport SRX in my Mcoupe and it's been excellent for two years. I'm still ticket free, although I did at one point fly by a cop and just got lucky he must not have been watching.
