I bought a door off a member hear for $30 in Great condition. The only thing that sucked was he cut the harness going into the door. So I had to Re-use my old harness and re-route it into the new door.

Tip: Take the door off by the THE HINGE PINS Or you will have a helluva time re-alinging the door. Do Not Unbolt it!!!!

I also had the problem where the rest of my zinnoberrot paint was faded and the door wasnt. >_<

I'm in Bellevue and may have a driver door, I need to check and see if it is for a 2-door or 4-door. But it won't be red.

Im fairly sure the wiring in late model doors is different then early doors. Of course 2 door and 4 doors are different.

you're not alone. We used to have about 5 good junkyards, but now there are only 2 - one on the reservation which is total crap (cars all over the place, overgrown with weeds/trees/blackberries) and another that is so overpriced you could buy the same parts new.

it doesn't matter much, you can swap all the stuff internal to the doors. except early doors will have chrome trim.

yeah i found a silver front drivers side door. it's from a 1991 318i. im going to go see it tomorrow, it's an hour away.

does anybody know the ballpark figure of how much it'd cost to paint the door brilliantrot? what would be a fair rate?

also, if any of you have a tutorial on how to detach a door and reattach, it'd be greatly appreciated if you could share that with me.

                                thanks
