    Ho... Lee... SHIT.

Well, I just got back from my first test drive with my M3.
All I can say is holy fucking shit!!! SOOO FAST. Steering is lightening fast, brakes are colosel, but the hosepower above 4500 is now something to be very happy with.
The E36 rack and brakes feel amazing, the schrick 284/276 combo on the 2.5L is just simply insane.
I had several hard runs to 7800 rpm and my god the car just keeps on pulling and won't stop!
Definatly a loss of torque below 4500 but that was to be expected and I can live with it, as I still have quite a bit more than the stock 2.3L does.
Anyhow, I am off to bed, it was a long day at work and then 4 stright hours to get the car back together and running so I need some sleep.
    Later all.

Ryan, engine spec wise, how does your S14 compare to Ted's (uofom3)?

Well, its a 2.5L, EVO3 crank, EVO3 pistons, shaved head, 10.8:1 CR, EVO3 valve springs, ported exhuast ports, schrick 284/276 cams, EVO afm, EVO3 injectors, 2.5L JC chip, K&N filter in EVO airbox and evo intake horn. I am not sure on what Ted's motor has, but now you know what mine has got.

I am SOO stoked on this, I can't believe how responsive the car is in all aspects now (accel, braking, steering, driver feel/enjoyment).
Bodywork is on a little bit of a hold. Last month I had the frame strightened and pulled out, so now the body is stright and complete, but the whole car is still needing to be painted. I need another month to raise the cash to paint it all.

That is awesome Ryan. I can image how it must sound now once the motor gets 'on cam.'

She is angry now... sounds a bit more opened up and agressive.
I still need to adjust the valves again to get them down to 10 thou as thet are at 11-13 right now. I wanted to be safe, but I have more than enough clearance so I can tighten them up a bit more to get the full power out of the schricks.

It's about time you got some cams to go with that 2.5. You should know it's all about the breathing especially when it comes to the S14. You've done a lot of nice upgrades. What's this about frame straightening and paintwork? did I miss something? Your car looked fine the last time I saw it.
