UTI is fine, if you have the money.
I didn't want to pay the $21k for the program, so I went to city college. I took my chances getting in, there is no BMW program through the City College's out here so you have to get into a dealer and hope they will send you to training...

I am going to UTI in arizona in three weeks, I am frantically replacing anything that might seize on the 1200 mile trip. I want to do the BMW program afterwards but fuck, 27 weeks? If I dont do that I will definately give Audi(14 weeks) and Porsche a shot, not MB though.

Ryan, check the specs on the cams. My chart shows .016 for the exhaust, 276 and .010 for the intake, 284 cam. I built Ted's 2.5. Yours sounds close. Enjoy! :twisted:

My sheet says .010 for both intake and exhaust... I will check again, but I am out of town so I can't check them now.. I read on a website that explained the degreeing of the cams and they said to run them at .010 intake and exhaust.

I swear I am not hard on brakes. I got bigger brakes because I want to be able to stop with all this power I have now and like the look of them more than anything (seems lame, but its true).
I removed my rear brake pads and rotors which were on the car when I got it, 30k miles prior, and I still hadn't worn through the chamfer on the sides of the pads!! That means I would have gotten over 100k miles on the rear brakes with stock pagid pads and cross drilled rotors (which was the reason I removed them).

I was going to BMW classes in Ontario back in January and in March. I might go at the end of the month, but I am not sure yet...
