No shit. If I pass someone that's going 56 in a 55, I will go as fast as my little M42 will let me so I don't have to be in the oncoming lane any longer than necessary.Leave a comment:

huh? it's safer to hang out in the on-coming traffic lane and pass as slowly as possible? I want to bitch slap people who make passes like that.Leave a comment:

The motor and chassis, suspension, ect can be salvaged, it's just a bunch of work, interior on the other hand will likely be done for. The cars I fixed from our floods here in Nashville last May have done well, freshwater isn't too bad if you take your time and dry it out all out, saltwater submersion like the cars I saw post Katrina can just be written off as paperweights for the most part.Leave a comment:

Nah not the driver's fault--it's impossible to control the torque that those V8 E30s put out.Leave a comment:

wow, what a shame to see that car destroyed like that! I hope he had a "stated value" on the insurance!Leave a comment:

Wow, what a shame. Bummer.
But... if you're passing someone at such a high rate of speed that you can't slow down to avoid rear-ending them, you're driving like an idiot IMO.Leave a comment:

After reading his story, I'd love to destroy the mother fucker who made him veer off. What a piece of shit.Leave a comment:
