Here's one for ya. A V-12 8-series manual for under $10k. It'd probably be a $$ pit, but it would be fun to own for a while. Shame there's no engine pics

This is a rare 1991 850i 6 speed. This is a great deal for someone who wants a rare car for cheap that normally cost up to 18,000. I found this car sitting at a winery where it was sitting for the past 2 years after hitting a rock on the drive way and breaking the radiator. I contacted the owner and bought the car; since then I have had it at a BMW shop getting it road ready. This car has had a lot of work done so far, spark plug wires and spark plugs, new radiator, new thermostat, rewiring and cleaning up in the engine bay, new cam sensor along with a lot of other things to get it up and running good and drives. It needs a clutch still to be a good weekend or daily driver. I don't have the money that is why I'm selling. Also idles rough on cold start till it warms up then runs and idles fine. Also noticed a slight shake around 50 think its do to wear on the tires. I would give the body 8/10, no rust few little dings; nothing very noticeable. Has one big chip beside the grill you can see in pictures. The paint is probably a 6/10, looks good when buffed parts of it where repainted overall looks good. The interior is 7/10 everything looks good but the leather is cracking on the front seats rear seats are perfect. It has 154,000 miles, the engines runs very strong and shifts wonderfully. This car is great for someone who wants a small project. It can be repaired while still having it on the road. It still will need a few small things other then the clutch but most of the big stuff is done. I think this price is a steal with a clutch the car is worth $12,000.

Last I read about those was they require lots of $$ and often have issues with running well for any period of time. Prob why it sat for 2yrs.

eh, there are shit loads of 750i's for sale and in junk yards. parts are easy to come by. the engines have problems with throttle bodies. usually you can clean them up with carb and choke cleaner. otherwise, they are pretty much like taking care of 2 m20's at the same time.
