the toilet paper over the license plate sure is a nice touch. seems like a very fair price for what it is.

No I don't really care about them being reps I'd buy reps too if for the right price and style, What bothers me is that he has the badge on them and the ad says bbs. now some stupid kid going see the ad buy them and think he has real bbs.

Besides the price being too high, what's the deal with this? I've never heard of anyone doing a carb mod.. It's been up for awhile, is it even worth throwing out a low ball offer or should I just stay away completely?

You are in the pacific nw and you think 2000.00 is too much to spend on a e30? Where are you going to find one cheaper in your area? Those carbs look like webers to me. its a manual and has leather sport seats. The body looks decent and it runs. I can't imagine what your expectations are?

So 2k is pretty fair for this? Even with the carbureted intake? 2k isn't much to spend on an e30 at all, I'm just asking about this particular one

If I'm not mistaken, the early models with the M10 had carburetors before they switched to the M40/M42. I dunno how I feel about carbs though, since I don't have any experience with them. I always assumed they weren't as reliable as a fuel injected system.

I could see cold starts being an issue for sure. Also having to adjust them once in awhile. I heard carbs provide better throttle response but not sure on that.

Personally, I would probably prefer injection, but who cares? It's a running driving e30 for two grand. it looks good, has decent paint, and it's a car you can work on and drive as you have money and time.

Eventually, you can swap the motor.

I'd buy it judging by the ad.
