THESE HIDEOUS WHEELS OMG

i went to go look at this car today. there are a few good reasons it is still for sale other than the wheels. it has decent size holes rust three corners, the fourth has a pretty good fender scrape. the car has plenty of minor dents. paint is pretty rough up close. its been over buffed to the point its pretty thin in many spots. the rear deck lid has a good size spot where the paint is worn through.....

control arms are shot. headliner needs to be replaced. the sunroof track is f'ed up. coolant was really low. the clutch release point is way up at the top of its travel. it has incorrect vinyl comfort seats. the dash has more cracks than there are wrinkles on an old lady's ass......

on the plus side, the engine runs really good. there is a pretty good chance the timing chain has been replaced. i listened closely and couldn't hear any rattle.

the guy is very negotiable on the price however.

It's primarily because of the mileage I'm guessing. And if it's able to be confirmed/validated... then he's probably not too far off base with the price. I wouldn't pick it up for that, but it's been proven that there are buyers out there who are willing to.
