2200 for a slushbox four door that needs a bunch of body work, a brake job and a service? Fuck that. That's a parts car. Mechanically sound or not, I'd pay 1500 max.

I wouldn't even pay 1500. I see way nicer cars in the $2200 range all the time on craigslist. My advice is to keep looking.
