This one keeps popping up and he refuses to post a picture of the engine and is apparently to frikkin lazy to clean it up. Might take him a whole day and a few hundred bucks.

^ lol guys on crack. And if someone pays that, they're on crack too. Or just rich, in which case I'm just jelly.

When did the "15k rule" for E30 M3's become the 30k rule?
          No E30 Club

Seriously... that is not bad at all. My buddy has been offered high 20's for his e30 m3 on multiple occasions and turned them all down.

30k for a clean example with some nice parts is pretty reasonable.

Aren't the miles kinda high to be a 30k car?

Not really. Especially if a lot of maintenance has been done to the s14... which I'm sure is the case as I can't imagine an s14 having 200k on it and running well without proper work, and possibly even a rebuild at some point.

His ad doesn't say everything, so to determine if it is actually a 30k car would require a fairly lengthy discussion with the seller. My point was just that it is not out of the question to ask that much for an e30 m3 with the original s14 in it.

196k is only 7.5k a year. Seems like the Sunday-only cars are in the $40ks now. Hell, my chassis has 252k on a broken odo.

                      Question of the day:
                      This fully restored Hartge vert w/ hardtop for $20k or a beat-down E30 M3 for $20k?

I'd take the Hartge vert with the Weismann. Like eleventybillion times over.

Well... yep I now think my e30's are piles of crap. Thanks for that. Thought they were pretty nice before seeing that.

Someone named Robert K should snatch that up and put an S62 in it.
