No offense taken. I've seen bunch of cars posted (in this thread and the classifieds section) that had salvage title with pricing that would not normally correlate to a salvage title type of situation you would normally see with a used car.

Maybe what I should have said is that it doesn't mean everything instead of that it means nothing. A clear title will obviously pull more than a salvage e30, but I've still seen salvage title e30's go for good money. Not the same as trying to sell a salvage e36 ,e46, e39, etc.

I shouldn't have been so emphatic on the "nothing." My apologies.

So in your opinion how much would this car sell for if all the little issues were fixed?

And how much would the price be if all the issues were fixed and it had a clear title?

IMHO, if everything were addressed... it had a clear title... and the paint is as nice it looks and is described... $10 - $13k. Again, that's just my opinion... this is the internet and all... but I've seen really clean e30's (verts and coupes) sell for over $10k.

He's asking $8k (coincidentally my buddy and I flew to NY to buy an M52b28 swapped e30 for $7200 that wasn't as nice as this one)... and would probably take $7500. I think it is a great car for a fair price. Not a great price (bargain status) for the buyer, but not an unfair one either.
