Just inspected!

Grey market car imported to North America via California (had to pass rigorous California state emissions) approximately 10 years ago. I've owned the car since 2007 and have spent approximately $10k in upgrades and renovations since purchase.

Approximately 7500 miles ago the following was completed:

-new catalytic converter
-new vacuum hoses
-hood insulation foam
-new timing belt & tensioner, cam seal, drive belts
-new clutch
-new rear transmission seals and coupling
-new OEM front shocks
-new thermostat
-new new throttle body hose
-new gas tank
-new control arms
-replaced idle control valve
-new OEM gasket set
-replaced speedo + temp gauge
-replaced chrome rear bumper

In past 3000 miles:

-new left tie rod assembly
-new vacuum hoses and clamps
-wheel alignment
-new 17 inch Alpina replica wheels & sport tires
-new battery
-new spark plugs
-new steering column
-new oil and fuel filter

Also included are 3 additional 17" sport tires with over 80% tread remaining

Also included is an OEM German canvas rear top w/ rear windshield for the rear Targa top.

PA inspection valid through 9/2016

Interesting. If I am not mistaken, this car was for sale 2 years ago out of Allentown PA using the same photos.

it is indeed a pretty car. i vaguely remember an ad along these lines from the past someone posted in this section.

it could be a scam, but whoever wrote the ad knows a hell of a lot about e30's and baur's specifically. i think there is too much detail in the ad for it to be b.s. there is actually a phone number listed. i wonder why no interior pics?

with that said, i would say that 6k is a tremendous value. i would think this car ought to be worth 10k or maybe better. definitely needs a set of h&r springs.

those of you that know me: what do you think my opinion of this car is? i am going out on a limb and i am going to guess this car is owned by a 17 year old. the wood paneling behind the seat is classy.

Mazda Miata (price drop) - $3800

Price drop 3800 takes it: 1996 mazda Miata, 5 speed manual, 125k miles, mechanically sound, welded differential (also comes with spare open diff), exterior is a 8/10, and the interior is also an 8/10 the only major flaw is the ripped seat, fluids all replaced at 105k, new clutch at 100k, oil changed every 3k miles, custom fender flares, rokkor coil overs, 16x8 xxr wheels all around and new tires on the rear, custom 3 inch exhaust, handmade wing brackets, handmade hood, air intake turn signals, and probably a few things I'm forgetting.
