What do you make of this? Good deal for a sharknose.

i see this car being purchased by a chubby latin guy that walks around in public with his shirt unbuttoned, about 4lbs of gold chains around his neck, pork chop sized side burns, and white alligator skin boots.

the bodywork looks pretty half assed. ''wrapped in 3m film"??? wtf? looks like they had some left over to do the glove box and knee bolster. yuk

gonna be for sale for a very long time at that price point.

Yup, And why does it look like they blended ALL the seams? Like bumper to fender, fender to skirt etc... looks odd

That, and if anyone were paying 40k, they'd expect a way cleaner engine bay.

Sorry if this ad has already been posted. I did a search on this thread and got nothing.

Looks like a great e30. My wife really wants this. Is it worth the price? Opinions please. Thanks.

I think it's worth it... Try to get a few hundred off, or even a grand if you are feeling really persuasive. The rarity alone though makes it worth the asking if it's a legit Hartge. IMHO anyway. Would love to have an e30 like that.

by the way the ad is written, i can pretty much guarantee it isn't a real hartge. i will say that it is a nice car though. it is probably worth pretty close to the asking price. i don't think it will be a very easy sale for its owner at that amount but i think it will eventually sell.

i'm waiting for bastianshaw to get on here and say its only worth 2 grand. 8)

No need to wait for him.

The auto trans automatically caps the value at $1500.

However, I gotta be a little more specific due to desirable parts.

Slicktop, contrary to hipster belief, lowers the value.

                                $1500 base price
                                -$500 for missing sunroof.
                                +$100 no rust
                                +$500 crack free dash
                                +$250 for Hartge goodies
                                +$50 Billy suspension
                                +$100 for desirable steering wheel

                                Grand total:
                                $2000
                                No E30 Club
