    Is there a way to check if timing belt is good or not?

    Is there a way to check if timing belt without taking out bunch of part?

      Dude...your english is fucking horrible.

      Define "few years"

      The old belt *might/should* hold up and let you start the car and idle, but start driving it and there is a good chance it's going to snap.

      Not worth the risk.

        Change the timing belt! If you don't change it, chances are you'll be pulling a cylinder head soon.

          dont you have AAA? or any sort of insurance?
          get them to tow that bitch....OR...if you feel lucky, go for it. depends how much you care about the car really. i wouldn't, but i love my car, you, well some people just dont have the capacity to love.

              Just have it towed. If a car has been sitting for a few years, you really should at the very least change the oil and tranny fluid as well as flushing the cooling system and filling with new coolant before running the car. You should either have AAA, and they will do it for you for free, or if you don't have AAA, you should have towing insurance with your auto policy. If you don't, call and have it added. It's literally like $10 a year. You will have to pay for the tow, but your insurance will reimburse you very quickly.

                just remember every time you get insurance to reimburse for a tow it's a claim against your policy. Too many claims will get you dropped. Just get AAA

                  :hitler:ok ok ok, let me get this right!,..... your asking if there is a way to check if the timing belt is ok for obvious reasons that you dont know how, or where to look, and you plan on doing some work on this....! If you havent a clue, wtf are you doing even contemplating turning bolts on this thing in the first place.:hitler:
