Is there a way to check if timing belt is good or not?

Just have it towed. If a car has been sitting for a few years, you really should at the very least change the oil and tranny fluid as well as flushing the cooling system and filling with new coolant before running the car. You should either have AAA, and they will do it for you for free, or if you don't have AAA, you should have towing insurance with your auto policy. If you don't, call and have it added. It's literally like $10 a year. You will have to pay for the tow, but your insurance will reimburse you very quickly.

:hitler:ok ok ok, let me get this right!,..... your asking if there is a way to check if the timing belt is ok for obvious reasons that you dont know how, or where to look, and you plan on doing some work on this....! If you havent a clue, wtf are you doing even contemplating turning bolts on this thing in the first place.:hitler:
