dont listen to 87e30, his car is just unreliable because its fashioned out of toothpicks and bits of old wire.
Recent headswap aside it hasnt cost me much to maintain, or been particualrly unreliable. I mean it IS an old car, so dont expect warrantied toyato levels, but if youre not a moron with a wrench and dont mind giving it love regulalry, its not bad.
its also never left me stranded except for after i did hte headswap, and i made a stupid mistake leaving an electrical connection loose.Comment

Sure it works, but it's not exactly like it doesn't need anything.Originally posted by z31maniacI just hate everyone.

to run? hardly anything maintenance wise. I need to change out my oil because you have to after removing the head but theres not much the car NEEDS. finishing my seats, tweaking the coilovers, and the paint aren't necessary fro transportation and largely optionalComment

Your car has it's e30 quirks like the rest of them. Like anyo ld car though. In reality any car this old is going to have some quirks. I agree it's better to have a newer DD.Originally posted by z31maniacI just hate everyone.

87 please take the massive tampon from your vagina. Do what you want with it after you remove it, it's none of my business.
You are the only one here with massive complaints. My car has treated me like a god. Never left me stranded. Been on multiple 200 + mile trips with it.

My eta WAS reliable in the sense that it would always start up (usually) but there was still a bunch of BS to deal with all the time.Originally posted by z31maniacI just hate everyone.

My friend has a clean late model and he runs into problems here and there.
For a car this old, with this many features, it's going to run into problems.
I don't understand how people really think this is more "reliable" (aka cheaper to own) than a generic mid 90s japanese car...
