    a swapped e30...or something comparable or interesting?

      We towed our road race ghia on an open trailer with a 2.0 16v swapped rabbit truck.
      He'll, we had the bed filled with spares and race three and tools too.

      It was not fast, but it made it down the freeway and never let us down.

            I don't see why not. When I went down the shore for my senior week my E30 was pulling 900lbs+ of payload for 150miles rather easily. Though not close to the weight of a car, I wouldn't doubt it would pull a car for an extended period of time. I've pulled my friend's heavy ass Audi 100 out of a snow pile before too with good ease.

                I towed my '85 325 5 miles with my stock '87 325iS with only a tow strap, you should be ok.

                      there was a guy with a swapped 90is that used to live up here by me that moved back to maine and used that car to drag his built MKI jetta back out east.

                            edit: Yes, stopping in an E30 with that much weight is genuinely frightening. I've had to had my foot all the way to the floor sometimes.

                              i've towed an e30 touring with my e30 touring m50 swapped :D

                              other than it being illegal, effing scary over 65mph it went well.. only used about 2 packs of smokes iirc.
