    e30 318is or celica supra?

    I'm in the market for a car after selling th cobra. I may be at the wrong place to be asking this but which has better handing characteristics? 1983 celica supra P-type with lsd 4.1, 5spd, and with some odd 150hp and 170lb/ft torque compared to the 91 318is. I'm really just curious cause I've heard both are monsters on the twisties and both are for sale in my area. Please no a**holish comments

            I'm obsessed with E30's but I come from a Toyota background. I'll try give a basic breakdown.

            E30 318is would be a bit more chuckable/nimble through corners due to a lighter front end.

            MA61 Supra would have a lot more torque, it's a pretty well balanced chassis and has very similar suspension and IRS set up to E30's .

            An MA61 would be very comparable to an E30 with an M20B27 stroker with the i head, in terms of performance, and handling characteristics.

                      Celica supra is 2k here while the 318is at the cheapest here is 2500. Also an engine transplant is a littl rich for my blood the could probably be said to 50%+ of the people on this forum. The m42 is such a good 4banger so I wouldn't do a transplant.

                              Eh I think ill stick with the 4 banger. Yeah the 6 obviously has more power and torque but I'm not looking for that. I just came from a 395whp 4.6 v8 and power is really only good with the straights and that can only be fun to a certain extent. I'm looking for the best handling possible for the bends:D
