why? you don't have the remote. I guess if you looked for the valet switch you could possibly activate it to see if it's working. Turn the ignition on and flip the valet switch and see if the LED comes alive. Or perhaps just take it to a shop and ask them to check it out.

I have that same light, and clifford alarm, mine works, I might have an "idea' of what that switch does. My alarm, which has same light, No clue what model mine is or yours, but there is a possibility theyre the same. Along with the alarm system there is a "valet mode" or something. if i flip it, the alarm will be de activated. For example, if your valet driver decides to open the car with a key instead of the remote the alarm will go off, and if you flip it the alarm will shut off.

I dunno if that helps, just kinda what I have figured mine might be used for? my switch is mounted in the kick panel tho kinda by the hood popping lever.

And if that doesn't make sense, sorry, be 420 friendly.

The Valet switch is an alarm bypass of sorts so it should be hidden away, not out in the front panel like your switch (unless the installer was an idiot).

Check under the seat. That switch may be for an ejection seat or an outrigger of some sort.

Lock your car and then break in. Should be obvious if it works.

This should be obvious but leave a window down when you're testing the locks. Don't need ya getting locked out. Seems stupid but I've seen people do it.
