yeah im still getting used the way my E30 drives i still gotta deal wit it driving good in the beginning then using all my strength to turn after the power steering fluids gone(i try not to let it gett hat bad) but it has brand new tires (Barum Barvarus or something like that) and they are super sticky i can barely get the tail out. (edit) btw about the turning radius, compared to my galant the turning radius is realli good way better than my moms E-class which is also better than my galants. i guess galants turning radius suckOriginally posted by Lof8Seriously. Every black wheel, regardless of spoke design, looks the same from more than 3 feet away.

E30's can drift very well, as can E28's. I would say the E28 is easier to drift because it has a longer wheel base and makes for a more controlable slide. Welcome to the E30 Comunity!

I am suprised I beat anyone to this...
Caster. E30s have tons of it... about 9 degrees negative. Negative castor will yield negative camber when cornering. This is very good for controlling and recovering oversteer.
Another thing to consider is wheelbase. Longer wheelbase cars (to an extent) are more predictable in oversteer situations for most drivers. My cabrio's wheelbase is about 103"... this is about medium to me for a 2 door.
I have not slid my E30. I do not plan to do it illegally.
I used to have a 240SX with suspension mods and an SR. It was fun to slide. But I eventually gave it up after I decided I had played with luck long enough.
PS- If you drift on the street or in parking lots.... you are a jackass

I have a chiped eta (5.5k revlimiter) and 3.73lsd
(and G/C suspension) last drift day I was too chikin' to hit third, but I believe I will be ready for it at the upoming DD on the 24th.
Has any one hit that wall yet? looks like a fun place to drift.
We use an old military airport that the town is renting out very cheap, so we drift around barrals with water in them and cones, not as exciting
If any one cares, here are two more E30 drift vids. http://tractionoptional.com/videos/DD3/index.html
go under Iggy, and its #1 and #2
