M3 firewall harness/cover re:m20 diagnostic port and relays

Thanks! Wanted to make sure i wasn't the only one seeing this encase it was due to a larger problem.

What type of tape are you guys using to wrap the harness? I've got some scotch super 33+ vinyl electrical tape i was hoping to use. The packaging says it is good to 105* C. Will that be ok in the engine bay?

Yeah, that stuff is good. I use shrink wrap where possible though.

I'll heat shrink the splices i make, but will need to re-wrap the entire harness due relocating the relays and diagnostic plug.

The harness under the cover isnt wrapped

I may wrap some of it just to prevent chafing and contain all of the extra wiring.
