    do these count??

first two were from an 11 car pileup, I ended up recycling the car for scrap. I drove my battered ass car into that silver car afterwards and got out and left it like that. Redneck shit. Dude knocked me sideways a few times after I had passed him. At least he got to keep racing

Yes she had a full face helmet on.
She got air lifted to Sacramento CA. Also had a small spine fracture, and a piece of bone punctured her throat and almost killed her. A off duty paramedic just happened to drive by as she was laying on the ground unconscious and bleed out through her face. He saved her life.
She is getting better fast, but her face is not so nice anymore. One of the strongest people I have ever met.
Holy shit! I am assuming she was not wearing a helmet? I am sometimes stupid and ride in shorts and a tshirt, but you will never see me riding without a helmet.

Wow, my condolences guys. I have yet to be in as bad a predicament, hoping it won't happen to me and you guys won't have to go through it again. Gnarly shit.

Memorial Day, 2008. I was on my way home from working the long weekend, about 20 seconds from my destination. Car in front of me was about 30 yards ahead, saw a new Kia Sportage at the approaching intersection with its left signal on. I was going straight through and remember thinking "There definitely isn't enough room between us for that guy to go through", but hovered over my brake pedal anyway. The next thought was "STUPID MOTHER FUCKER" as he went for it. I chose not to swerve because it was a very busy intersection near Salisbury Beach and there were way too many cars around to attempt some F&F shit, plus I would rather take out this asshole than a car full of kids who didn't do anything wrong.

He went for it and then stopped in front of me for some reason that still escapes me. Locked 'em up and hit him right in the passenger rear door, sending him spinning backwards and to the right into a pickup truck waiting at the light. It barely clipped the front of the truck and flipped over, where it spun a full 360 on its roof. It was a total shit show, local police from 3 towns, state police, fire trucks, accident reconstruction, the whole shebang. I kept my cool and let everything run its course and was rewarded by seeing multiple tickets being tucked into the visor of his brand new totaled car with no gap insurance as he was being carted away in an ambulance.

I walked away with nothing but a broken thumb nail, which cracked when it took the cruise lever off the column. I will never drive without my 4 point every again, I firmly believe that it saved me some serious bodily injury that day. Ended up keeping the car, buying a shell and swapping every part that I could into it. Sorry for the novel.

PS, the car 2 weeks old :(

Too much speed + not enough talent + a set of tires shot = walking away from a crash, no way! Great engineering by bmw.

90 MPH crash into Mt. Lemmon will turn this:

                Into this:

Surprised I didn't see this thread earlier.

My first E30, about 3 weeks after swapping out the M20B27 for a B25, was out driving like an asshole and lost the rear end around a blind corner on a wet spot after a rain, and put it head-on at about 55 mph into the driver's side corner of an '89 Accord with a 16 year old girl behind the wheel.

My seat belt didn't lock, and I hit the steering wheel chest-first, and fractured my sternum and almost broke my collar bone when the seat belt ran out of slack. Her legs got jammed up under the dash and they had to cut her out, but she was fine. I lost my license for a year and the girl's parents sued me for almost $6k. Paramedics on the scene said I was lucky to be alive.

I think this is my favorite pic, that's the front bumper shock, punctured THROUGH the frame rail.
