installed coilovers, went inside to eat some egg rolls, came out and went for a test drive, chased driver side rim 6-700 feet down the hill.

had a rough idle awhile back and was dicking with the throttle on the throttle body twisting the plastic nut to make it idle higher.
it took me 2 good days to figure out the issue, and it was i was adjusting the cruise control nut not the actual throttle nut.

Forgot to snap in the wiring harness under the knee bolster.
Put it all back turned the steering wheel, destroyed a BUNCH of wires, car didn't start.
WORST fucking week working on my car. Me and my dad spent a day from dusk to dawn repairing torn wires.

I did the exact thing with my input shaft housing. In all, I dropped my tranny 4 times:
              1. Original clutch job, place TOB on wrong way
              2. Place TOB on the right way
              3. To attempt to fix housing seal leak that soaked new clutch disk
              4. Second attempt to fix leak, and replace clutch disk

After 4 attempts, finally fixed the leaks back there.

My e30 fell off its jackstands and smashed its oilpan, that was the only damage. (no wheels)

When I had my first e30 m3 it came with the multicolored stitches on all the seats (ft & rr) and panels. I didn't like it so I painted them with a Sharpie.... Damn was I stupid

#1. Working on my buddy's e30 I slammed my knuckles into the flywheel trying to get the bolts off of the clutch to replace it causing me to go to the hospital and get 9 stitches and a stupid bulky cast

#2. wasn't my fault but my buddy got a set of new wheels for his e30 and got a set of 10mm spacers and somehow got the original lugs to fit...kinda. He spends about 3 hours trying to get all his wheels on because the lugs are just long enough and I came over about 2 1/2 hours into it to tell him it wasn't gunna work but of cprse he's already pissed it's taken him this long so he's jus Gunna continue no matter what I say. He finally gets them all on and goes to accelerate hard coming out of his drive way, the front right wheel FALLS OFF causing him to spin to the right, the car hits the side of his porch that he had gotten built not four days prior cracking both right headlights, denting the hood and right quarter panel, destroyed his rotor and on top of it all his brand new borbet type a rolled accurst the street into his neighbors new Subaru denting the door and scratching the lip on the rim....tell me he's not absolutely retarded.

+2 I actually had gotten miles home from. Came off during a Uturn, right in the middle of a busy two lane street during rush house. My jack wouldn't fit under the car. A guy walking down the street had a butterfly jack in his book bag and gave hand. Must have been my guardian angle.
I want a nice set of smoked MHW's (I know, get it line)

So many mistakes, my lesson is never rush things.

Removing the rear axle from the wheel bearing without checking to make sure the flange on the opposite side wasn't touching the diff flange. Of course i was using an air hammer...

Again with the air hammer, removing the subframe and was driving the bolts through the chassis. Brrrrap..... ting! the bolts flew through the holes and nicked my window tint.

Just finished installing a 3 clutch diff, fixing multiple trans leaks, and a brake flush I proceed to drive the car to test the rear end out, hard cornering in all. Come to find out my lug nuts were only hand tight. 90mm studs ftw!

On a car at Pick n pull I was trying to get the oil pan off and unbolted the flywheel cover to have it swing down and slice a 1 &1/2 in cut on my forehead. Kept going and walked out of PnP 30 min later with blood all over my face. and an oil pan.

On my car... nearly knocking it off jack stands by giving the door that extra bump when it didn't close all the way. I caught it by the open trunk and pulled it back straight so quick. My dad was on the other side. Probably wouldn't have ended well.

So as I read some of the things that others have done, I dont feel nearly as bad for simple mistakes like catching my hand on the radiator fins or the exhaust while it's still hot, speaking of hot exhaust I've gotta find the picture, burnt my hand so bad on an exhaust once I had the indent of the letters HOT stamped on the exhaust in my hand for a few weeks. Always fun adventures.
