Stupidest thing you have done while working on your E30

Replaced my fuel system. Could never get a definite answer on which fuel line is which. My supply line was correct. Car was running great. Went to get emissions. They told me my purge line was disconnected. Next day connected my purge line to the intake which created a vacuum. I pull up to the emissions stations dumping out massive amounts of fuel from my engine bay. Find out I had my return and purge line swapped and the purge line at the charcoal canister created a vacuum when the purge line was connected to the intake.

Starting the engine with a ratchet on the crank pulley. Good times were had.



Waterpump impeller sitting on my desk makes sure I don't forget.
