What do you guys this of this e30?
There are not many for sale around me for relatively cheap.
Carfax is clean, its been around the block though. Through a family, has 6 owners.

He said there is a squeak in the suspension, has records 6 years back.

Pictures are small. Interior looks above average, paint looks above average, service looks above average. If you can verify all that and you want an ES then of course it's a good deal.

$2500 is steep for an eta. but it's cheap for a rust free good condition e30 in general.

The guy agreed to 2000. I want an es because I need the bettery economy right now.
I have seen a lot of stories about guys getting their eta's for 1000 and below.
Would I be getting the bad end of the desl for 2000?

I don't think he will take 1800. He had it listed for 3000 and I offered him 2000. He said 2500. I said no 2000. He said 2100. Told him I have 2000. Then he repoated it for 2500. Lol

Unfortuneately we worked it out for 2000 and its too late. /:

Looks clean to me. I paid $2k for my eta. It wasn't an 'es', but had about 100,000 less miles than that one. So it seems like a fair price to me.

So, my parents and I went and looked at the car. Extremley clean, exterior wise, there are two spots which I would call either scratches or gouges, but that is all. I could not see any dents, but then again it was dark. the interior is immaculate. He has tons of records back from 2007 and years before. From 2007 till now the car has only seen a total of ~10,000 miles.

Car has an aftermarket deck (which I will probably replace because there is no ipod hookup)
Car alarm, I do not know what brand, but it looks decent. It is functional
Cup holder on the door.

Everything else is stock, wait, besides basket weaves, which I do not know if were stock, but I do not think so.

Anyways, Gave the guy $2000 for the car, he gave us all the papers so it is our car. He is getting it smogged tomorrow morning and having it sent over on a flatbed to my house.

One problem, the front right suspension suposedly makes a squeeking noise. When we took it for a test drive it did not make any noise, BUT it did feel stiff, and as if it was not really absorbing anyhitng, more of just rolling over it.

Any ideas?
