Well, I find the stereotypical smoke-'em-up-for-the-hell-of-it burnouts pointless. I just don't see the attraction. If you want to sit in one place and smoke, buy yourself a lawn chair and a pack of cigs, not a car.

                  Nah, do a topspin burnout.

Drifto doughnut / Circle drift the rwd biased awd and make it spin it's rears more than fronts - the rears will start smoking- there is your sideways+moving burnout!

Stock ix might be able to do this w shoddy tyres. STi-RA's can do this stock :)

burnouts and power sliding are in the same catagory, period.

I only light them up on the corners or if I'm trying to top my car out as fast as I can from 0, I kind of grew out of that young and dumb phase, and it just doesn't look cool anymore. (Edit: I do not power slide, I kick the clutch.)

Sitting there and spinning the wheels was something I used to do when I first got my license.
Now its all about gutter to gutter fish tailing in the wet.

On shitty tires, sure. I mean, I had to test the turbo somehow haha. I dunno, I'd much rather drive a twisty road or hard launch and then accelerate rather than sitting there spinning the wheels I suppose. That said, my other car is a caprice classic wagon. That one has seen a few burnouts haha.

Nope, I don't do burnouts, and neither can eta's:

Im honestly not a fan of burnouts unless your about to make a 1/4 mile pass.
I will lay some cones down and drift around an empty lot all day. to me they are completely different beasts. while drifting is hard on the clutch and driveline, its not all the torque from a stand still like a burnout.

now if i had a fully built turbo m20 I probably would burnout some tires till they popped. ive ALWAYS craved that
m20 is plenty. im simply a drifter.
