idk what people see in this car. it looks like a JDM mass produced car. i hate it! its interior looks cheap, like a US built car. the front of the car is missing an airdam and the back of the car looks like the huge butt from the e90. its lacking in all the same ways the 325e was lacking.Comment

I'd like to take one for a drive. Definitely suggesting it to my father.

I've driven the new 2012 528i with this engine and it's great. Lots of torque (260 ft/lbs, not 250 as stated here), likes to rev and has a sweet engine sound. With the principle engine mass moved closer to the firewall due to 2 less cylinders, the steering feels more accurate and turn-in feels sharper. It's fun to play with the damper settings: the engine, steering and gearbox really liven up in Sport mode. The engine-stop at stoplights is a bit disconcerting, but there's a defeat button just below the ignition button. The 528i is rated at 34 MPG highway, and if you just roll around at soft throttle you can see average MPG of 45+ MPG. I can't wait for the F30 3 series to arrive. I'd LOVE to have one of these in my 325is, but it'd hellish to solve all the fuelling, ignition, and ECU issues.Comment

Lets pray thats not the route the go.
The back end looks more like the F10, actually it looks exactly like the F10 neither of which I care for. But who cares its the sedan. The coupe will look better. Also the front looks good to me. Especially the sport model.
I want a nice set of smoked MHW's (I know, get it line)

Ugliest 3 series yet.
If I had to place a finger on it... The worst things from the front are...
The headlights and how they are attached to the grills, looks very awkward.
The lines on the hood, especially where they get towards the A-pillar.
And how the front edge of the hood is just... there... straight across now flowing with any of the other lines or worked into the grill and lights like the e46 for example.
Too many things to name really. It's just plain big and ugly.Zinno '89 <24v swap in progress>
