The best thing about the 500 is the "Fiat Twins" from a year or two ago.

There are way too many of those damn things running around. I would drive a regular 500, I love the way it looks.
We have a lot of FIAT cars in Germany and trust me, they are real shit.*** For sale: euro stuff, BBS steering wheels, smoked tail lights, bunch of rare wheels (5x120 and 4x100) ***

I rather pay $16k for an e30 and an e28. Or e30 and a TJ
You've got me there I haven't driven one, however everything I've seen/read about the 500 Chassis has been negative. I'm sure the Abarth will feel better, but its anything like the 500 or the rest of fiat's current line up it will be less than spectacular.
And I can't believe a 1.6 liter 160hp FWD Fiat, gets you guys excited. Please act like you've driven an e30. But honestly I think you guys are all just talking. I think that at the end of the day very few here in this forum would honestly pay $16k for the 100hp base model or $25k for the 160hp Abarth. You simply know better. You may let or wives or GF's do it, but honestly I have a hard time even believing that.
seems to me like that guy has a bone to pic rather than giving acc info.
that goes for you as well.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

You'll have to define better.
Its competitors all offer more space and all are cheaper (except Mini / Beetle)
Ford Fiesta offers better power to weight and mpg
Versa offers alot more space and better power to weight
Accent offers better mpg and better warranty
Rio offers better mpg and better warranty
^These cars are what the industry considers its competitors. Personally I would only consider the Mini or the Beetle actual competitors
Lets really put to rest all this Abarth nonsense
Abarth power to weight is 15Ib/hp
Cooper S 15Ib/hp
Beetle turbo 13Ib/hp
Cooper S and Beetle both start at 23k. I heard the about will cost at least 25k.
The Mini is a great handling front wheel drive, you will find tons of automotive journalist that agree with me. I have not driven the new beetle for 2012 but I've heard/read great things about its driving dynamics. Also I this point I think it should be pretty clear that VW and Mini have better build quality than fiat. I sat in a 500 at this years autoshow and was far from impressed. Even a few guys in this thread, who've sat in side one said the interior looks and feels cheap.
The car sucks, that's why its not selling. Come guys can we just but this to bed already and let this tread die!!!!Last edited by CrusherCurtis; 11-20-2011, 10:17 AM.I want a nice set of smoked MHW's (I know, get it line)
